“Definitely worth the wait!”

Jaden Sinclair brings her readers another thrilling Shifter series book. Kane is the son of Drake Draeger, whose story you read about in Shifter 4: The Prowling. Kane, along with his twin sister Sasha were products of an experiment done on Drake when he was captured. Kane and Sasha are years apart in age but twins none the less. Shifter 6: The New Breed is Kane’s story.

Kane has been free for a month and still he has nightmares of being captured. Will the nightmares ever end? He hopes so, but after all he’s been through who knows. His father Drake has done all he can to make Kane and Sasha feel at home. Kane still feels something is missing though. So after getting Drake to agree to let him have the cabin in the woods outside Drake’s home, Kane sets out to find what is missing. Will he ever lead a normal life or is his life destroyed for good?

Jada Leonard has been hiding for three years. From not just those who want to kill her for her information, but also those who want to protect her. Well, they say they want to protect her but she doesn’t believe that, and knows she can only count on herself. So why does she feel like something is missing in her life? Then she is found and taken back to those who can protect her. She sees Kane again for the first time in three years and something inside her likes what it sees. Trying to keep up the strong front is getting hard now though. So why should Jada be having these thoughts about Kane, and does he feel the same?

Once more Jaden Sinclair brings her readers into the lives of the Draegers. This time it’s the captured children of Drake. Mostly the life of Kane, Drake’s son. For those who have read the other five Shifter books, this is one worth waiting for. Ms. Sinclair makes her readers feel like they are right there with the family. Feeling the ups and downs that Kane and his sister have gone through, as well as Jada and the rest of the family. Readers are drawn into the world of Shifters and are made to feel like a member of the family, or at least a really close friend that knows all their secrets. Since reading about Kane in the other books, I am sure others have wanted to find out what has happened. Now they will find out. Definitely a must read story for fans of the series.

“the fifth book in the Shifter series”

Cole’s Awakening begins with Cole Sexton and his brother Chase being welcomed into the Draeger family after the death of their parents. Cole isn’t all that happy about it but does so, one: to save his brother’s life, and two: because Natasha Draeger won’t take no for an answer. Much to Cole’s surprise he finds his mate among the Draegers. Telling himself from day one she is too young, and her father and the other males of the family would kill him if they knew, Cole keeps his distance, or tries to. Does Cole have what it really takes to Claim his mate? After all these years will she even want to be his Mate?

Celine Draeger has known Cole since she was 12 years old. She’s done everything she could to get him to see that she is his Mate and will keep doing what she can until he comes to realize it himself. Now with the death of her Grandmother, maybe she can convince Cole she is the one for him. She just has to prove it to Cole before it’s too late.

This book also goes into more details of Chase and his capture. Cole now has to deal with not just wanting to claim a mate but with the fact his baby brother has grown up and is just as capable of handling his problems as Cole is. Is Cole ready to let go of the only remaining family he thinks he has left? Will he ever learn to let himself be welcomed into the Draeger family?

Cole’s Awakening is the fifth book in the Shifter series and truly one of my favorites. Jaden Sinclair has once more drawn her readers into the lives of her characters. They feel for Cole and his struggles. They watch Celine grow up and her fight to get what she wants. They also watch Chase grow up and finally become the man he wants to be, with or without his brother’s permission. Truly, a Shifter book to join the rest. Once more, a book that will keep the readers interested from the first page to the last.

S.E.T.H was designed for the military in the hopes that the computer program would become a super military power, he would be the ultimate in military high tech design. Only Seth was learning, he was designed to learn what is true, but he wasn’t designed to learn emotions. Seth learned that all on his own. As Seth begins to develop emotions he finds that his strange attraction for Alyna Satara go much further than mere curiosity at this human woman, he finds he has fallen in love with Alyna. Soon, Seth will be free of the machine, free to take a body developed for him. He will then take the woman he knows is destined for him as well. The only problem? Getting her to understand the depth of the love that he feels for her is real. That, and keeping her alive once the military discovers that Seth does have one weakness. Alyna. The military is not about to let their property walk out the door to go live a normal life as a man with the woman he loves. No. They want their property back. At all costs. Even if it means using Seth’s twin program against him.

Alyna Satara doesn’t have much in life, but she has a life. She also has a friend, albeit a computer chat buddy, it’s a friend none the less. Too bad she has no clue who he is in the real world. If she did, Alyna doubts he’d be interested in her, not in the way she is in him anyway. Determined to stay out of her grandmother’s home for good, Alyna is working herself to the bone. Until one day she discovers that Seth, her chat buddy, has decided it is time for them to meet in real life. She never expects that Seth is not human, not until she sees the great lengths he will go to in order to escape the military, escape with her. Seth will do whatever is needed to keep Alyna safe, but most important, he will do whatever he needs to in order to keep Alyna. Period. Can a machine love? Once it does, is it possible to have a life? The couple may never find out if the military has anything to say about it, they will use anything they can get their hands on to control Seth, including Alyna.

I really enjoy military action books with a hint of the extraordinary added to the mix. S.E.T.H. won’t disappoint you if you do too. It’s a departure for Ms. Sinclair, but one that she is able to make. This will be a great new genre and series her. I will look forward to the next book in this series! Not only is S.E.T.H. action packed, it’s got a hot love affair that will keep your heart pumping right along with the action.
